OneDrive to MyDrive Migration

Open the link for the step-by-step guide on moving your personal files and data from Microsoft OneDrive to Google Drive.


THE PROCESS


  1. Download: Log in to OneDrive, select your files, and download them as a .zip file.

  2. Extract: Unzip the folder on your computer so the files are ready for upload.

  3. Upload: Create a folder in Google Drive named OneDrive Migration [Date] and use Folder Upload to move your files over.


TIPS FOR A SMOOTH MOVE 


  • Keep it Open: Ensure your browser window stays open until the upload status in the bottom-right corner shows 100% complete.

  • Batching: If you have more than 10GB of data, we recommend uploading in smaller batches to ensure a stable connection.

  • Verification: Once your files are visible in Google Drive, you can safely delete the .zip file from your computer to save space.
